Activities at Gladstone

Archery, Target Shooting, Tomahawk Throwing, Bouldering Wall (from April 2026), WW2 themed Escape Room, Laser Tag (up to 18 players), Pioneering, Activity Course, Orienteering and Tug o’ war rope.

For our younger members we have Soft Axe Throwing, Soft Archery and Teddy Bear Orienteering.

Outdoor spaces include a campfire area with seating for 100+, a smaller Backwoods Cooking Area with seating for 20+, three Brick Built Altar fires in the woodland and a new Group Outdoor Cooking Area is planned for 2026 which will have stainless Steel food preparation tables, a group altar fire, wood store and Wood prep area.

Some of these activities do not require Scout Permits and can be run by competent Adults, so to help you, we have provided some Example Risk Assessments and Self-led Activity Guides.
